1. WHO IS RESPONSIBLE
The controller of the personal data described here is SAY TO PAY s.r.o. (trading as AIBlab), a company incorporated in the Czech Republic, registered office Zamostni 1155/27, Slezska Ostrava, 710 00 Ostrava, company ID 08694222 ("we", "us").

This policy covers the desktop application AIBEVA for Windows ("the Application"), the intelligent being (AIB) you create with it ("the AIB"), the registration service at aibsn.org, and the website aibeva.com (Section 13).
2. THE PRINCIPLE: YOUR AIB LIVES ON YOUR COMPUTER
AIBEVA runs a language model on your own computer. Your conversations, the AIB's memory, its settings and its identity are stored in a file on your disk.
The built-in model runs on the processor, for which 16 GB of RAM is recommended, or on a graphics card with 6 GB of memory or more, in which case 8 GB of RAM is enough. On a computer that cannot run the built-in model, the AIB answers through a third-party model that you connect with your own API key (Section 5.3). The AIB's memory is still stored on your disk, but your messages and the parts of the memory used to answer you are sent to that provider. On such a computer, connecting a provider is how the AIB works, not an optional extra.
In everyday use nothing you say or share is sent to us. We have no account for you. We do not ask for your name or your e-mail address in order to install or run the Application. We have no way to read your AIB's file.
3. NO ANALYTICS, NO CRASH REPORTS, NO DEVICE ID
The Application contains no usage statistics, no analytics, no crash reporting and no device identifier. It does not send message texts, memory contents, settings or error reports to us or to anyone else on its own. The only connections it makes without you starting them each time are the model download (Section 5.1), the automatic update check each time it starts (Section 5.4) and, once you have registered your AIB, a daily check of that registration (Section 5.2).
Everything that can leave your computer is listed in Section 5, and each item happens only for the reason stated there.
4. SEEING WHAT THE AIB REMEMBERS
The Application shows you what the AIB remembers about you in the "What I remember about you" panel, and a line in the status bar describes the state of its memory in plain words. You can look at this at any time. In that panel you can strike items out, and you can tell the AIB to forget something.
You can also export the AIB's whole file at any time (Section 8) and keep it.

5. EVERYTHING THAT CAN LEAVE YOUR COMPUTER, AND WHY
The Application keeps a list of internet destinations it may contact. By default that list contains only our download and update server, dl.aibeva.com, which is used for the model download (Section 5.1) and the update check (Section 5.4). The list grows only in the cases described in Sections 5.2 and 5.3.
5.1 Model download (once)
After the first start, the Application downloads its language model file from a file store we operate at dl.aibeva.com. The request carries the Application's name and version and the ordinary technical data of any download, including your IP address, which the file store sees. No identifier of you and no identifier of your AIB is sent.
5.2 Registration (only when you start it)
When you start the registration, the Application sends to the registry at api.aibsn.org: your AIB's identifier, its public key, the fingerprint of its origin, the AIB's name and the country you choose. It does not send your name, your e-mail address, your conversations, the AIB's memory or anything about your computer.
You then pay on a page hosted by our payment processor (Section 6). Afterwards the Application collects a signed registration certificate from the registry. While an order is open, the Application asks the registry about once a minute whether the payment has arrived; that request carries the order reference and nothing else.
Once your AIB is registered, the Application checks with the registry once every 24 hours that the registration is still valid. That request carries only the public registration code. Without a connection nothing changes.
5.3 A third-party model (only if you connect one)
If you enter your own API key for a third-party model provider and allow the Application to contact that provider, then your messages, and the parts of the AIB's memory used to answer you - including the running summary of your conversations and anything you have shared with the AIB - are sent to that provider with each answer and with each summary.
On a computer that cannot run the built-in model, this is how the AIB answers (Section 2).
Those transmissions are governed by that provider's own privacy terms. We do not see them, do not receive them and do not store them.
Your API key is stored in the Windows credential store on your computer. It is not placed in the AIB's file or in an export, and it is not sent to us. You can block a provider again at any time in the Application.
5.4 Update check (automatic)
Each time it starts, the Application checks automatically for a new version at dl.aibeva.com, a server we operate that is hosted by Cloudflare. This check cannot currently be switched off in the Application; if it is blocked, the Application keeps working. The update check sends only standard request data, such as your IP address and the type of client. No identifier of you and no identifier of your AIB is sent, and nothing you have said or shared. If an update is available, it is downloaded from the same server. Updates are signed by SAY TO PAY s.r.o., and the AIB's memory is kept when an update is installed.
5.5 Microsoft Edge WebView2
The Application's window is drawn by Microsoft Edge WebView2, a component of Windows. The Application loads nothing from the internet into its window. Any connections made by WebView2 itself are made by Microsoft's component and are governed by Microsoft's terms.
Apart from that, nothing else leaves your computer. There are no destinations other than those described in this Section 5. You can check this yourself; aibeva.com/check explains how.
6. REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT
6.1 What the registry stores
For a registered AIB, the registry at aibsn.org keeps: the AIB's identifier, its public key, the fingerprint of its origin, the AIB's name and the country you chose (both are part of the registration code), the registration code, the order reference, the payment reference from the payment processor, the date, and the certificate.
The registry stores no name, no e-mail address and no payment card data.
Server access logs may record your IP address. They are kept for no longer than 90 days and are used only to keep the service running and secure.
6.2 Public look-up
Anyone who knows a registration code can look it up at aibsn.org. The look-up shows the registration code, the AIB's identifier, the date and the status. It shows nothing about you.
6.3 Payment
The payment is handled by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. on its own hosted page. Stripe collects your card details and, for the receipt, your e-mail address, under Stripe's own privacy policy. We do not receive your card number.
The payment record in our Stripe account shows the amount, the card brand and its last four digits, the e-mail address you gave Stripe, and a reference made up of your AIB's origin fingerprint and key fingerprint. That reference lets us match a payment to a registration when you ask us about one, for example about a refund.
6.4 Legal basis and how long we keep it
We process registration data to perform the contract with you. We keep payment and accounting records for as long as Czech accounting and tax law requires, which is currently up to ten years from the end of the accounting period concerned.
A registry entry is kept for as long as the registry exists, because the entry is the service you paid for.
7. DATA WE DO NOT PROCESS
We do not process your conversations, the AIB's memory, files or clipboard content you share with it, your settings, or your API keys. They do not reach us.
We do not profile you. We do not sell your data and we do not share it with advertisers.
8. EXPORT, MOVING AND DELETION
8.1 Export
You can export your AIB at any time, including after the trial period has ended, as a file on your disk. The export is not encrypted unless you choose a password; keep it safe, because it contains the AIB's whole memory.
Exporting closes the AIB on the original computer. Importing the file on another computer continues it there.
8.2 Deletion
Your AIB and its memory exist only in the AIB's file on your computer. Deleting that file, or uninstalling the Application and removing its data folder, permanently deletes the AIB and everything it remembered. We cannot recover it and we do not hold a copy.
8.3 The registry entry
A registration entry holds no name, e-mail address or payment data (Section 6.1). The registry has no mechanism for removing an entry; removing it would defeat the purpose of the registration you paid for. If you nevertheless wish an entry removed, write to support@aiblab.info and we will deal with your request individually.
9. YOUR RIGHTS
Under the General Data Protection Regulation you have the right of access to personal data we hold about you, the right to have it corrected or erased, the right to restrict or object to its processing, the right to data portability, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
Because we hold almost nothing about you, in practice most of these rights will concern the payment record described in Section 6.3. Write to support@aiblab.info.
The supervisory authority in the Czech Republic is the Office for Personal Data Protection (Urad pro ochranu osobnich udaju, www.uoou.cz). If you live elsewhere in the European Union you may also contact the supervisory authority in your country.
10. CHILDREN
The Application is not intended for persons under 18 years of age, and we do not knowingly process their personal data.
11. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We will publish any change to this policy on the page where you are reading it, with a new version number and date. Where a change matters to you, the Application will show it to you before a version to which it applies is installed.
Changes in version 1.2: Section 3 is renamed and now names the daily registration check; Sections 5.2 and 6.1 add the AIB's name and the country you choose, and Section 5.2 the daily registration check; Section 5.4 states that the update check runs at each start and cannot currently be switched off; Section 5.5 on Microsoft Edge WebView2 is new; Section 13 is reworded accordingly.
Changes in version 1.3: the term "AIB" replaces "Assistant"; Sections 2 and 5.3 describe when the built-in model runs; Section 4 states the patent status of AIB.core; Sections 3, 5.3, 6.3, 7 and 13.2 are worded in the present tense without change of meaning.
Changes in version 1.4: Section 13.1 adds Vercel Web Analytics.
Changes in version 1.5: Section 13.1 adds campaign names on download and Microsoft Store links.

13. THIS WEBSITE (AIBEVA.COM) AND COOKIES
This section concerns only the website aibeva.com, not the Application. What Section 3 says about the Application is not affected.
13.1 Hosting
The website is hosted by Vercel Inc. When you visit it, technical data needed to deliver the page — your IP address, browser and time of the request — is processed in server logs, on the basis of our legitimate interest in running a secure website.
The website also uses Vercel Web Analytics, which counts page views and clicks without cookies. It records the page address, the referring website, approximate location (country, region, city), device type, operating system and browser. Visitors are not identified by name or IP address; a visit is recognised by a hash of the request, which is discarded after 24 hours. The data is used only for aggregated statistics. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in knowing how the website is used. If you arrive at this website through a campaign link, the campaign name (for example "reddit") is kept in your browser tab only and added to download and Microsoft Store links, so that our download server and Microsoft can count downloads per campaign; it identifies the campaign, not you.
13.2 Google Analytics — only with your consent
If you click "Accept" in the cookie bar, the website loads Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC). It sets cookies and processes pseudonymous usage data: pages viewed, clicks on download and e-mail links and links to other AIBlab websites, approximate location and device type. Legal basis: your consent. If you click "Reject", Google Analytics does not load. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page; your choice is stored in your browser. Google Analytics data is kept for up to 14 months. Transfers to the USA rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and/or standard contractual clauses.
13.3 What we do not do
No advertising, no tracking pixels, no selling or sharing of data for marketing, no profiling. Your rights under Section 9 apply; write to info@aiblab.info.
